Why Broad Spectrum?
This is the most expensive oil to purchase given the complex extraction process required to remove all the THC (tetrahydrocannabinol) whilst preserving the array of terpenes, flavonoids, and CBD within the plant. Broad Spectrum oil contains a vast number of compounds which work together to heighten the positive and therapeutic benefits of CBD oil.
The Science
This effect is referred to as the ‘entourage effect’; the belief that taking multiple cannabinoids in concert multiplies the effect of taking only a single molecule (as is the case with CBD isolate).
CBD isolate limits the scope of what the hemp plant can offer being a highly processed single-molecule CBD. For severe needs and prolonged use, isolate simply cannot produce a highly effective therapeutic result as can be seen with full and broad-spectrum oil.
