An Affordable Family Sun Care Range – With the fabulous weather we are experiencing in the UK, we should all be using sun cream protection on our bodies, not just for ourselves but for the rest of the family too. Readily available from your local boutique, supermarkets or online, there is a vast selection on the market ranging from top-end beauty brands to more affordable options.
Women Talking looks at the award-winning budget Delph Sunscreen range, which protects from both UVB and UVA rays and I am pleased to say, is high on protection and surprisingly low on cost.
Delph is based on the original Lemon Delph fragrance blended with a highly developed laboratory formulation, giving full protection at the required sunscreen level and great water resistance properties (even after 2 separate 20 min dips in the pool).
The range is fully tested according to medical standards, and it is supplied to the NHS (National Health Service), many local authorities and public utilities as well as the MoD and RNLI, with this distribution, you know your family is in safe hands!
The range consists of the following:
SPF 30, and SPF 50 are all available in 150ml tubes as well as an after-sun lotion.
The products are fully dermatologically tested to medical standards (On humans) and are suitable for all skin types.

How to use your sun cream
Apply the product evenly covering the area to be protected, typically:
½ a teaspoon for your face
1 teaspoon for each arm and slightly more for each leg
2 teaspoons full for the back
2 teaspoons full for the chest’ and let it dry.
Let it dry.
Apply every 1-2 hours to maintain protection, especially after perspiring, swimming, or towelling.
Why use an after-sun?
The Delph range includes After Sun treatments in a lotion or gel option, both moisturise and soothing the skin after exposure to the sun. The gentle rehydrating formula with added moisturisers and vitamin E helps prevent peeling and prolongs the life of your tan, reducing the ageing effects of the sun.
The easily absorbed light formula also contains Aloe Vera, renowned for its soothing properties It will leave your skin feeling soft and smooth.
How to use your after sun
Apply generously to skin that has been exposed to the sun, avoiding contact with eyes and clothing.
