Women Talking had the opportunity to try the classic Dove Dress sporting a unique iconic hand designed black and orange Leopard print and the Taylor Longline Cardigan, made from a soft fluffy feather-knit fabric, both designed in Ibiza, and both delightful feel-good colours.

The idea of Dancing Leopard started in 2009 when co-founders, Jade, and Jack, were travelling the world. Exploring India, they were inspired by Goa’s vibrant fabric markets and began sourcing material to create clothes that celebrated bright colours and power prints. Just like that, Dancing Leopard fashion brand was born.

First, they made their mark in London, before heading to Ibiza, where we quickly became known for their bold designs and bohemian spirit in the island’s best boutiques.

Now they are proud to have an international website, concessions in ten countries and have opened their first flagship store in Ibiza Town.

Taking influence from their Balearic roots, they create unique, hand-painted prints and styles that work from island to city life. Whether you’re sipping sangria by the ocean or getting down on the dance floor, it’s their mission is to make you look and feel your fiercest.

Every piece of Dancing Leopard clothing is designed in-house. Jade, is heavily involved in the design process, coming up with the initial concept ideas for each collection, then working closely with their production team to bring her vision to life.

Their collections are small and timeless, and have over 50 exciting prints, all hand drawn.

They have several shapes that they consider to be Dancing Leopard classics, due to their popularity that they have brought them back time and time again.

To make their products more sustainable, their design process now involves sourcing eco-conscious fabrics to use in their collection.

This includes:

GOTS-certified organic cotton.

ECONYL® regenerated nylon – Repurposed nylon, sourced from waste that would otherwise pollute the Earth

LENZING™ ECOVERO® – Viscose derived from sustainable wood and pulp, taken from certified and controlled sources.

GRS-certified recycled polyester – Reused polyester, derived from discarded plastic bottles.

Plus, all their t-shirts are EarthPositive (demonstrating the highest possible environmental, social, and ethical standards) Not only are they creating new styles in conscious fabrics, but they are also re-making their classics.

They also post all their orders in biodegradable mailing bags and use their deadstock fabric to create scrunchies that fundraise for charity.

Their next step is to replace all the fabric in their main collection with eco-conscious materials. This is already in the works and will continue to happen gradually over time. Eventually, every piece of Dancing Leopard clothing will be made from eco-conscious fibres.

Giving back to communities is something that is close to their heart. In the last few years alone, they have donated over £130,000 to charity through fundraising and donating profit.

Some of the charities they have worked with more recently include Women for Women International. Choose Love and Shelter. And, in 2022, were nominated for the Business Charity Award for their partnership with Railway Children.

Ordering online is a simple process, once you have chosen your desired style and size just pick a shade!
