The Luxury Travel Fair Celebrates 20 Years of Extraordinary Journeys

The Luxury Travel Fair Celebrates 20 Years of Extraordinary Journeys – Some holidays are about switching off, while others are about discovering somewhere new, experiencing a different culture or enjoying a little luxury along the way. With the right advice and a few personal touches, planning your next escape can be just as exciting as the journey itself.

This November, The Luxury Travel Fair celebrates its 20th anniversary, returning to Olympia London from 5–8 November 2026. With more than 70 carefully selected luxury travel specialists, the event is an opportunity to find inspiration for your next adventure, whether you’re dreaming of a private river cruise, a wildlife encounter, a boutique city escape or a tailor-made journey somewhere further afield.

The Fair also arrives at an exciting time for Olympia London, following its £1.3 billion transformation into a major destination for dining, entertainment and events.

Find your next extraordinary escape

One of the attractions of The Luxury Travel Fair is the opportunity to speak directly to the people behind the holidays. Rather than relying on online searches alone, visitors can meet founders, directors and destination experts who bring first-hand knowledge and a personal approach to planning a trip.

This year, a new complimentary private concierge service will help visitors navigate the Fair and connect with the specialists best suited to their travel plans.

Established names including Trailfinders, Emirates Holidays and Abercrombie & Kent will be joined by luxury cruise operators and specialist travel companies such as Regent Seven Seas Cruises, Audley Travel and Ponant.

There will be plenty to explore, with ideas spanning Japan, South Korea, the Philippines, Tanzania and destinations across the globe.

Some of the highlights for 2026

  • A different way to explore Egypt: Abercrombie & Kent will showcase its luxury riverboat, Sanctuary Nile Seray, offering a boutique cruising experience along the Nile.
  • Wine lovers, take note: Heritage Wine Tours specialises in private wine tours across some of France’s most prestigious vineyards.
  • Journeys made just for you: Tailormade Tours will present personalised itineraries across South America and Asia.
  • Discover Colombia by river: AmaWaterways will showcase new luxury river itineraries on Colombia’s Magdalena River.
  • A stay with a sense of history: Visitors can find out more about distinctive properties, including Istanbul’s historic Bank Hotel.

Whether you already have a destination in mind or are simply looking for a little inspiration, the Fair offers the chance to discover possibilities you might not have considered.

Stories, inspiration and a little champagne

Travel isn’t just about where you go; it’s also about the stories you bring back. The Travellers’ Tales Theatre will host a programme of complimentary talks and panel discussions, with expert editors, travel writers, authors and industry figures sharing their experiences and advice.

Topics will include slow travel, sustainability and emerging destinations worth keeping on your radar.

Among the confirmed speakers are BBC journalist John Simpson CBE, who spoke at the Fair’s very first edition 20 years ago, and Race Across the World favourites Mark and Margo.

And if all that travel talk leaves you in need of a little refreshment, the Louis Roederer Champagne Bar will be returning for the occasion.

Food is also on the menu, with the return of the pop-up restaurant from Great British Menu winner Kate Austen. A chef with an impressive record, Austen was the youngest female head chef of a two-Michelin-starred restaurant in the world and the first woman to win the main course on Great British Menu. Booking a seat at her table sounds like a rather good addition to a day out.

Two fairs, one ticket

There’s another reason to make a date of it. Every ticket to The Luxury Travel Fair also includes complimentary access to the Spirit of Christmas Fair, which celebrates its 25th anniversary this year.

With more than 600 curated lifestyle brands, it’s an opportunity to get ahead with Christmas shopping, discover independent finds and perhaps pick up a few gifts while dreaming about where to travel next.

Twenty years on, The Luxury Travel Fair continues to bring together the people, ideas and inspiration that can turn a holiday into something genuinely memorable. Whether you’re planning a once-in-a-lifetime adventure or simply fancy discovering somewhere new, it could be just the place to start.
