My Ever-Evolving Beauty Routine: Three New Finds I’ve Fallen in Love With.
I’m always trying something new when it comes to beauty and skincare. Having worked in the hair and beauty industry for many years, I still love discovering new products, revisiting old favourites and finding little additions that make a difference to my daily routine.
This time, I’ve been trying three very different products, covering everything from tired eyes and evening skincare to something we should never overlook – oral health. All three have impressed me, and each has earned its place in my ever-evolving routine.
A little morning pick-me-up with AlumierMD HydraRescue Eye Pads

There is nothing quite like looking in the mirror first thing in the morning and wishing your eyes looked as refreshed as you feel (or perhaps a little more refreshed than you actually are!).
Whether it’s a busy week, a late night, too much screen time or simply not getting enough sleep, the delicate area around our eyes can often give the game away.
I’ve been trying the new AlumierMD HydraRescue Eye Pads, and they have quickly become a lovely little addition to my morning routine. They are wonderfully easy to apply, and once in place, you can simply get on with your morning. No need to sit still or disappear off to the bathroom for 15 minutes – I can walk around, make a coffee and carry on with whatever needs doing while they work their magic.
The pads use advanced biocellulose technology, designed to hold moisture against the skin and help maximise the delivery of their ingredients. The formula includes niacinamide (vitamin B3), peptides, licorice root extract and vitamin E, all selected to help hydrate, soothe and improve the appearance of the delicate eye area.
What I particularly like is how straightforward they are to use. They feel like a little bit of pampering without having to make a special occasion of it. My eyes feel refreshed and hydrated afterwards, making them a lovely way to start the day.
AlumierMD reports that its clinical testing showed an 83% improvement in hydration after one treatment, with participants also reporting brighter, smoother and less tired-looking eyes.
At £29 for four pairs, they are a little luxury, but one I can see being particularly welcome before a special occasion or after a particularly hectic week.
Rénové ReNew³ Elixir: An uncomplicated approach to evening skincare

I’m a great believer in looking after your skin, but I’m not necessarily someone who wants an endless collection of products and a complicated routine. Sometimes, keeping things simple is the best approach.
That’s what appealed to me about Rénové ReNew³ Elixir, a 50ml one-step night moisturiser designed to combine three well-known skincare ingredients in one formula.
I’ve been using it in the evening, and I really like its consistency. It has a lovely feel on the skin, absorbs almost instantly and doesn’t leave behind that sticky or heavy feeling that some night creams can.
One of the features I particularly appreciate is the push-style dispenser. It’s hygienic, easy to use and dispenses the product neatly, without having to dip your fingers into a pot.
The formula brings together three key ingredients:
- Retinol 0.5%: Helps improve the appearance of uneven texture and supports smoother-looking skin.
- Hyaluronic Acid: Helps attract and retain moisture, keeping skin hydrated.
- Vitamin E: Provides antioxidant care and helps nourish the skin.
I like the idea of bringing these ingredients together in one product, particularly for anyone who doesn’t want to spend ages layering different serums and creams before bed.
A little goes a long way, too. The recommendation is to apply a pea-sized amount to clean, dry skin in the evening.
One important point: because it contains retinol, it’s best to introduce it gradually, starting with one or two evenings a week and increasing as your skin builds tolerance. Patch testing is recommended, along with daily SPF, and it should not be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
For me, it’s a lovely addition to my evening routine – uncomplicated, pleasant to use and exactly the sort of product I enjoy discovering.

Don’t forget your teeth: S3 Daily Sensitive Toothpaste

When we talk about beauty, skincare and looking after ourselves, it’s easy to concentrate on what we can see. But oral health deserves just as much attention.
Looking after our teeth and gums isn’t simply about having a lovely smile. Good oral hygiene is an important part of our overall health, helping to prevent tooth decay, gum disease and other problems. For anyone who suffers from sensitive teeth, choosing the right toothpaste can also make everyday activities such as drinking something cold or enjoying a hot cup of tea much more comfortable.
I’ve been trying S3 Daily Sensitive Toothpaste, which is described as a breakthrough in Sensitivity Science™. Its approach is to calm, strengthen and protect, bringing together three important elements in one daily toothpaste.
What particularly appeals to me is that it’s designed for everyday use, rather than being something you reach for only when sensitivity becomes troublesome.
Tooth sensitivity can be frustrating, especially when it starts to interfere with the little things we take for granted. Having a toothpaste specifically formulated to help protect sensitive teeth is therefore a welcome addition to the bathroom cabinet.
It’s also a useful reminder that our beauty and wellbeing routines shouldn’t stop at our skin. Healthy teeth and gums are every bit as important, and oral care deserves its place alongside the rest of our daily self-care.

Three different finds, one common theme
These three products may be very different, but they have something in common: they are all designed to make looking after ourselves that little bit easier.
Whether it’s a quick morning refresh for tired eyes, an uncomplicated night-time skincare routine or giving sensitive teeth some extra attention, I always appreciate products that fit into everyday life without making it feel like another chore.
And these three have certainly earned their place among my recent beauty finds.
