Fashion Design & Inspiration:
Your recent exhibition at the London Fashion Show was met with great enthusiasm. How did it feel to have your designs so well received?
“I was beyond thrilled to participate in the London Fashion Show by Silkroad, as it marked the exciting debut of our collection. The experience was unforgettable, and I was deeply touched by the warm reception our brand received. The audience truly appreciated the quality of our designs, crafted in Italy with premium Italian fabrics and adorned with Swarovski details. It was a great honour to be part of this prestigious event and to inspire the remarkable women in attendance with our collection”.
You trained at a prestigious fashion school in Milan. How did your time in Milan influence your approach to design and fashion?
“My time at Accademia del Lusso in Milan had a profound influence on my creativity, precision, and mastery of my craft. Over the course of five years, I immersed myself in fashion design, sewing, pattern creation, digital design, and fabric sourcing. I believe I am one of the few designers with such comprehensive training, which allows me to bring my vision to life—visualising fabrics as I translate them into dress designs on paper, right through to the final product. I often draw inspiration from architecture and art, always considering shape and structure in my designs”.
All your clothing is made in Italy. What is it about Italian craftsmanship that you value most in your creations?
“What I value most about Italian craftsmanship is the unmatched precision and attention to detail. Each product reflects this through nearly invisible sewing lines, expertly crafted with high-end fabrics like silk, jacquard, organza, tulle, and voile. The care and skill involved ensure that even the most delicate elements, like Swarovski embellishments, are flawlessly integrated without the risk of falling apart.
This level of craftsmanship means that when a client invests in one of these pieces, they’re choosing a garment that will remain a staple in their wardrobe for years. The durability of the product ensures that it maintains its beauty and quality over time, making it a timeless addition to any collection”.
Can you tell us about the inspiration behind your latest collection that was showcased in London?
“The latest inspiration for my collection draws from the elegance of architecture and design, embodying a concept of sensibility, lightness, and continuous movement. When you see our glamorous diamond dress on the runway, it flows beautifully, as though the model herself is moving effortlessly within it. I selected light fabrics, such as silk, to amplify this sense of grace and fluidity, encouraging women to step confidently into their own empowerment.
This collection is dedicated to empowering women to make an unforgettable impression wherever they go. Too often, women find themselves overlooked, even when speaking on stage or presenting to clients. Our designs aim to inspire them to be the best versions of themselves, to know that they are unique and powerful, and that their voices matter. Every piece serves as a reminder that femininity and strength go hand in hand, and that they deserve to stand out and be heard.
The concept of this collection centres on lightness, elegance, and the pure, unbroken flow of movement—like a river, powerful and ever-adapting, always finding its way. The shimmering Swarovski crystals add a touch of brilliance, capturing light with each movement to enhance the natural grace and strength of the wearer. Every piece embodies this sense of effortless elegance, allowing women to move confidently and beautifully, empowered by the enduring flow and resilience reflected in each design”.
Some of your designs have been worn by high-profile individuals in Switzerland. Can you share any memorable moments or collaborations?
“We are grateful to have our collection embraced by remarkable personalities, including Lisa Klein Signer, who wore our designs at the Zurich Film Festival, and Valentyna Prostak, the talented artist and painter who chose our pieces when accepting her award from the Ambassador of Qatar at the Qatar Embassy in Bern. Most recently, our collection was showcased in London by the stunning Beatrice Turin, Miss Europe from Austria, adding another beautiful chapter to our journey. It’s an honour to see our designs worn by such inspiring figures on their important occasions”.
Expansion to the UK:
You’re now bringing your designs to the UK. What excites you most about entering the British fashion market?
“I believe that women in London have a vibrant social life, with countless events, weddings, conferences, and client meetings—especially given the city’s role as a financial hub. This is the audience we aspire to inspire. I admire the elegance of English style, which is both beautiful and timeless. Nothing would make me happier than seeing women on the streets of London wearing our dresses and suits, heading to work on a sunny day, attending weddings, or making a statement at special events. It’s a vision of empowerment and sophistication that I hope our brand can bring to life in London.
I love that women in London have such a passion for shopping, accessorising, and expressing their personal style. They embrace fashion to celebrate individuality, which makes London an exciting place for our brand. It’s inspiring to see how they bring creativity and elegance into every look”.
How do you think British fashion tastes differ from those in other places where your work is well-known, like Switzerland or Italy?
“I find British fashion to be wonderfully classic and elegant, which I truly admire. While I lean toward more modern designs, I believe there’s a unique niche for introducing Italian fabrics to the modern British woman. This blend could bring an extra layer of style and extravagance to her wardrobe, enhancing her elegance with the luxury and sophistication of Italian craftsmanship”.
Multifaceted Career:
In addition to being a designer, you are also a stylist and beautician with clients in Zurich, Dubai, and London. How do you balance these roles, and do they influence each other creatively?
“As a beautician and permanent makeup specialist, I’m thrilled to be offering services such as powder brows pigmentation and lip pigmentation at Clinic 193 on Whitecross Street in central London, as well as at one of the best clinic called: Dynamic Aesthetic in Dubal and in new office in Switzerland. I love helping women feel beautiful through the art of natural pigmentation, which brings out the symmetry, fullness, and elegance in brows and lips. Many clients have asymmetrical brows, sparse hair, or low pigment, and these techniques create a refined, yet natural, enhancement. Both the beauty and fashion industries share a dedication to precision and thoughtful design. Before any procedure, we carefully consult with the client, designing the perfect shape with special attention to arch and tone, ensuring it complements their features and skin tone to achive desired shape of brows and lips.
Powderbrows permanent makeup offers a soft, elegant look with a powdered effect for beautifully defined brows. This pigmentation technique enhances the brows with a natural, fuller appearance, adding depth and sophistication to one’s features”.
How do your experiences in fashion design inform your approach to styling and beauty for your international clients?
“My international fashion experience significantly influences my approach to beauty. Working in diverse cities like London and Dubai, I encounter clients with a wide range of skin tones and skincare needs. These multicultural environments present unique challenges and opportunities, allowing me to enhance my creativity. In Dubai, for instance, the stronger features of women often call for a different approach than the lighter complexions typical in London. This diversity enables us to select the perfect permanent makeup styles tailored to each client’s individual style and face shape, ultimately revealing their beauty and enhancing their visibility according to their personal goals”.
What have you learned from working with clients across cities as diverse as Zurich, Dubai, and London?
“Working with clients across cities like London, Zurich, and Dubai reveals the distinct needs and challenges they face in both fashion and beauty. In Switzerland, clients often prioritise precision, seeking to achieve their desired look with perfectly shaped brows—just as precision is crucial in our dress collection. In contrast, London clients tend to be more open to suggestions and advice, and we find a similar openness in Dubai. This diversity enriches my approach, allowing me to tailor my services to meet the unique expectations of each market”.
Future Vision:
What are your future plans for your brand as you expand beyond Italy and Switzerland?
“My future plans for my fashion brand involve expanding into the UK, with a focus on multibrand shops like Harrods. We aim to achieve the same in Dubai, Oman and Saudi Arabia and our target market also includes New York, where we aspire to participate in the New York Fashion Show. Additionally, I see significant potential in markets like Monaco and Monte Carlo, as well as Ireland, Italy, and Spain. Looking further ahead, I hope to explore opportunities in Singapore and Japan, as these regions present exciting possibilities for our brand’s growth.
Additionally, clients will soon be able to order our collection in all these countries through our upcoming e-commerce shop. This online platform will make our designs accessible to a broader audience, ensuring that our brand reaches fashion enthusiasts around the globe”.
How do you stay inspired and continue evolving your style in such a fast-paced industry?
“I stay inspired by my vision for the brand: to encourage women to be the best versions of themselves, embracing their uniqueness. While I attend shows to see what other designers are creating, we never follow trends; my focus is always on my clients. I deeply respect the diverse cultures in places like Dubai, Saudi Arabia, and India, and we launch different collections to cater to their unique needs.
Our commitment to creating unforgettable pieces involves using incredible fabrics from suppliers like Ruffo Colli and Ratti Group. This close collaboration keeps us engaged and inspired. When the catalogues arrive, we carefully consider colours, fabric choices, and designs for each season.
Every brand is unique, and it’s essential for us to remain true to our core values and mission. A key aspect of our brand philosophy is “less is more,” emphasising that high-quality clothing lasts longer—even if the price is higher. This approach not only enhances sustainability but also reflects our dedication to environmental responsibility. We place incredible attention on sustainability certifications and the sourcing of fabrics and materials, ensuring that our impact is positive”.
Is there a particular type of client or collaboration you’re hoping to attract as you bring your designs to new markets?
“In terms of our new market strategy, we are eager to build long-lasting trust and collaboration with well-known personalities and influencers in the UK, Dubai, New York, Saudi Arabia, Spain, India, and Japan. Our collection is designed for special occasions and significant events, such as speaking engagements, weddings, anniversaries, and diplomatic venues, as well as for the media and entertainment industries. We also cater to businesswomen in sectors like finance, law, sales, and medical technology. It brings us joy to envision women confidently wearing our clothes in these important settings”.
