In Residence Comes to Twickers – There’s an exciting new dining experience coming to Twickenham very soon:
In Residence offers Michelin-experienced chefs the opportunity to develop original dining concepts shaped by their own personal histories, experiences and culinary heritage.

Drawing on their journeys cooking around the world, each chef brings together the people, places and traditions that continue to inspire them, sharing their stories through food and bringing exceptional dining experiences to local communities on their own high streets.
By taking over much-loved local spots after hours, from cafés and garden centres to farm shops, In Residence transforms familiar spaces into intimate, candlelit dining experiences, reimagining what a night out on your own doorstep can look like.
Each menu is also accompanied by a bespoke wine pairing, curated by an expert sommelier. Whether guests are wine enthusiasts or simply curious to learn more, our dedicated team brings each course to life by sharing the inspiration behind the dishes and their carefully chosen pairings in an on-table passport and with hyper-personalised service.
At the heart of In Residence is the belief that good, exciting food should be available to you no matter your postcode, making extraordinary culinary experiences possible just around the corner.

In Residence puts serious chefs into characterful rooms in neighbourhoods that don’t usually get them. This November in Twickenham they’re hosting Solan — Agata Tomczak and Giorgio Santorsola, who between them have cooked at Noma, Osteria Francescana, Disfrutar, KOL and NOPI, and who cook privately for many celebrity clients. Their menu is called ‘Italia, Polska’: six courses drawing on Agata’s Kashubia in northern Poland and Giorgio’s Puglia, at £85 a head with a welcome cocktail.
Though their culinary journeys have taken them around the world, it is the flavours and traditions of their childhoods that continue to shape their cooking. Having grown up in Poland and Italy respectively, Agata and Giorgio find connections between their cultures, weaving the two cuisines together to create original fusions that look to the future while honouring their pasts. From jars of fermented Polish gherkins to the family tradition of making tomato passata in Puglia, both chefs share memories of food as an act of care – something made and enjoyed together and passed down through generations.
Hailing from Puglia, the sun-drenched heel of Italy, and Kashubia, Poland’s Baltic Lake County, their menu is where Italian caprese meets smoky Polish cheese (handmade by Agata) and peasant pasta passatelli meets golden wintery Polish broth.
For six weeks only, a menu built uniquely for In Residence is touring from high street to farm shop. There are limited seats, intimate candlelight, six courses and a welcome cocktail. Both chefs will be cooking just a few feet from your table and café spaces are transformed.
Twickenham is Saturday 7 November — one night only, 65 seats. It’s the only single-night date in the series, and bookings close on 29 October so the kitchen can buy for an exact number. It’s at The Crown Cafe 10 Crown Road, St Margarets Twickenham, TW1
