A Fresh Take on Sustainable Homeware – As someone who reviews home and kitchen products on a regular basis, I admit I’ve become quite difficult to impress. I’ve seen countless versions of the same storage solutions, washing-up bowls and kitchen organisers, all promising to make life easier. Many do the job well enough, but very few make me stop and think about why they exist in the first place.
ReBorn has done exactly that.

Over the past year I’ve been fortunate enough to welcome several ReBorn products into my home. Rather than testing one item and moving on, I’ve gradually welcomed more of their products, and what surprised me most wasn’t simply how well they worked, it was how the company completely changed my mind set about everyday homeware.
We spend a lot of time thinking about the food we buy, where our clothes come from or how much plastic packaging we’re recycling, yet most of us probably never stop to consider where our washing-up bowl, sink organiser or storage products are made. They’re just… there.
ReBorn asks us to think differently.
More Than Just Recycled Plastic
It’s easy for brands to add the word sustainable to their marketing, but ReBorn has built its entire business around giving waste a second life.
Every product is made here in the UK using 100% recycled plastic, reducing transport emissions while supporting British manufacturing. Better still, the company has managed to create products that don’t look like they’ve been compromised because they’re made from recycled materials. They’re contemporary, practical and thoughtfully designed.
In just three years ReBorn has diverted more than 60,000kg of waste from landfill and sold over 100,000 products. Even more impressive is that manufacturing in Britain using recycled materials results in a carbon footprint that’s around 79% lower than equivalent products made from virgin plastic manufactured in the Far East *(Analysis from Brunel University Vs Far East Production)
Everyday Products That Have Earned Their Place in My Home

One of the things I appreciate most about ReBorn is that their products aren’t designed to sit in a cupboard looking pretty; they’re made to be used every single day, and that’s exactly what I’ve done.
The first product I welcomed into my home was the SquishBin®, and it’s genuinely transformed the way I recycle. Like many households, I was forever battling with overflowing bags of soft plastics stuffed into cupboards waiting for the next supermarket recycling trip. The SquishBin cleverly compresses everything into one neat, compact container, freeing up valuable space and making recycling feel far less of a chore. It has become one of those products I simply wouldn’t want to be without.
Next came the Washing-Up Bowl, and although it may sound odd to get excited about something so ordinary, this is anything but. The sturdy handles make it comfortable to carry, the integrated plug makes emptying it effortless, and the raised base keeps it cleaner than traditional bowls. It comfortably fits my sink and has become part of my daily kitchen routine, quietly making washing up that little bit easier.

Alongside it sits the Sink Tidy, which has finally brought some order to the area around my sink. Brushes, scourers and sponges all have their own place, while the dishcloth hangs neatly on the integrated rail instead of being draped over the tap. It’s such a simple idea, but it’s made my kitchen look tidier and, thanks to the clever drainage design, everything dries much more quickly too.
What links all three products isn’t just good design, it’s thoughtful design. They solve everyday frustrations without creating new ones, proving that practical homeware can also be a more sustainable choice.
Sustainability Doesn’t Have to Look Worthy
One of the things I admire most about ReBorn is that they don’t expect customers to sacrifice style in order to make better environmental choices.
Their packaging is bold, modern and refreshingly different from the muted greens and earthy tones often associated with eco brands. It reflects the company’s confidence and personality while standing out on the shelf.
The products themselves are equally well designed. ReBorn proves that sustainability doesn’t have to mean compromising on style or practicality.
Buying Better Doesn’t Mean Spending More
Perhaps the biggest misconception surrounding sustainable products is that they automatically come with a premium price tag.
Considering these products are manufactured in the UK using recycled materials, I was pleasantly surprised that they’re priced alongside many established mid-range homeware brands. You don’t feel like you’re paying extra simply because you’re making a more environmentally responsible choice.
As consumers, we have more influence than we sometimes realise. Choosing products like these sends a clear message that sustainable manufacturing and thoughtful design deserve our support.
Women Talking Verdict: ★★★★★
Why we love it: ReBorn is more than a homeware company. It’s a British brand proving that innovative design, sustainability and everyday practicality can work hand in hand.
