Step Into the Magic at Mundo Pixar Experience – Why It’s Top of My September Must-Visit List.

If you’re anything like me, there are certain films that instantly transport you back to childhood. Whether it’s laughing along with Mike and Sulley in Monsters, Inc., wiping away a tear during Up, or cheering for Lightning McQueen in Cars, Pixar has an incredible way of creating stories that stay with us long after the credits roll.

Step Into the Magic at Mundo Pixar Experience

That’s exactly why Mundo Pixar Experience has gone straight to the top of my list of places to visit this autumn.

Running in Wembley Park until 1st November 2026, this isn’t just another exhibition. It’s officially the largest Pixar exhibition ever created, giving visitors the chance to walk through beautifully recreated scenes from some of Pixar’s most beloved films.

More Than an Exhibition

Spread across an incredible 3,500 square metres, Mundo Pixar Experience has been designed to make you feel as though you’ve stepped straight into the movies.

There are 14 immersive Pixar worlds to explore, featuring 27 life-sized characters, spectacular sets and interactive spaces that are guaranteed to make your camera work overtime.

Among the highlights are:

  • Walking into the giant-sized Andy’s Room from Toy Story, where you’ll suddenly feel toy-sized yourself.
  • Exploring the colourful Scare Factory from Monsters, Inc.
  • Diving beneath the ocean into the Great Barrier Reef with Nemo and friends.
  • Journeying through the beautifully recreated Land of the Living and Land of the Dead from Coco.
  • Visiting Sunnyside Daycare from Toy Story 3, making its world premiere in the London exhibition.

A Treat for the Senses

One feature I particularly love the sound of is that this experience doesn’t just rely on impressive visuals.

Six specially created scents have been designed to immerse visitors even further, from the fresh sea breeze inspired by Luca, to the comforting aroma of incense inside Mama Coco’s house and even the smell of freshly cut grass reminiscent of Up.

It’s these little details that elevate the experience from simply looking at film sets to genuinely feeling as though you’ve entered Pixar’s world.

Why Families Will Love It

With the summer holidays and autumn weekends ahead, Mundo Pixar Experience feels like one of those rare attractions that appeals to every generation.

Children will be thrilled to meet their favourite characters in life-sized surroundings, while parents and grandparents can enjoy revisiting the films they’ve shared together over the years.

The exhibition is fully accessible for visitors with motor, hearing and visual disabilities, ensuring everyone can enjoy the adventure.

The Perfect Instagram Opportunity

Let’s be honest, many of us love discovering places that offer fantastic photo opportunities, and this exhibition certainly delivers.

From colourful oversized rooms to iconic Pixar locations, every space has clearly been designed with memorable photographs in mind.

Whether you’re travelling with children, friends or as a couple, you’ll almost certainly leave with a camera roll full of magical memories.

A Global Success

If you’re wondering whether Mundo Pixar Experience lives up to the hype, the numbers certainly suggest it does.

Since opening in London in February, it has already welcomed more than 300,000 visitors, while over 3.5 million people worldwide have experienced the exhibition across Mexico, Brazil, Spain, Belgium and Seoul.

Reviewers have been equally enthusiastic, praising the stunning attention to detail, immersive storytelling and emotional connection to Pixar’s unforgettable characters.

Why It’s On My September Calendar

As someone who enjoys immersive experiences, I’m genuinely looking forward to seeing just how these iconic films have been brought to life.

I’m especially excited to wander through Andy’s Room (who hasn’t imagined what it would be like to be toy-sized?) and to revisit the colourful world of Coco, one of Pixar’s most visually beautiful films.

I’ll be sharing my own review, favourite moments and plenty of behind-the-scenes content after my visit in September, so if you’ve been thinking about going, hopefully I’ll be able to answer all those questions you’ve been wondering about.

Until then, if you’re looking for an experience that combines nostalgia, family fun, incredible creativity and plenty of opportunities for unforgettable photographs, Mundo Pixar Experience looks set to be one of London’s standout attractions this year.
