Teletubbies & Strawberry Shortcake Take Over London for a Day of Joy – Sunday 5th October is set to be a day filled with colour, nostalgia and sweet surprises as two much-loved childhood icons — the Teletubbies and Strawberry Shortcake — head to London for a series of free, family-friendly events.
Brought to the city by global entertainment company WildBrain, these treasured characters are stepping out from the screen and into real life, giving fans the chance to meet them in person, collect a few goodies, and even enjoy chocolate-dipped strawberries at one of London’s most famous food markets.
The Teletubbies: “Big Fun” Across London
The Teletubbies are on the road! Nearly three decades since they first lit up our screens, Tinky Winky, Dipsy, Laa-Laa and Po are celebrating with their very own red double-decker bus. Expect plenty of smiles, waves and even a taste of Tubby Toast as their “Fun Squad” hands out treats along the way.
After their city adventure, the colourful quartet will make a special stop at Pop Mart, Oxford Circus, where fans young and old can enjoy hugs, photos, and a peek at the latest Pop Mart × Teletubbies “Say Hello” collectible series.
Strawberry Shortcake: A Berry Sweet Treat at Borough Market
Strawberry Shortcake, the darling of kindness and friendship, will be spreading joy at Borough Market. Partnering with Turnips, one of the market’s most celebrated produce traders, she’ll be surprising 100 lucky visitors with cups of indulgent chocolate-covered strawberries. A delicious way to share her “berry best” spirit!

Touring central London (Piccadilly Circus, Oxford Street, Regent Street) with giveaways and meet-and-greets along the way. - 12:00 pm – Strawberry Shortcake x Turnips Giveaway at Borough Market
A sweet surprise for the first 100 fans — chocolate-covered strawberries, served with a smile by Strawberry herself. - 2:30 pm – Teletubbies at Pop Mart, Oxford Circus
