Wundrful World of Christmas Returns to London – And There’s a Brand-New Elves’ Playground.
There is something quite magical about the build-up to Christmas. The lights going up, Christmas markets appearing, festive treats arriving in the shops and, of course, watching the excitement on children’s faces as the countdown to the big day begins.
So, what better way to bring a little of that Christmas magic to life than by stepping inside Santa’s world?
Wundrful World of Christmas is returning to London this winter, and for 2026 it has a brand-new home at Immerse LDN at Excel London, along with a new festive experience for families to enjoy once they have journeyed to the North Pole.
Designed particularly for children aged 3–8, the 50-minute immersive adventure takes families on a journey from London to the North Pole, where the magic of Christmas unfolds around them.
And this isn’t a case of simply sitting back and watching a show. Children become part of the story.
The adventure begins with a magical simulated lift ride towards the North Pole before families enter the snowy Enchanted Forest and discover the Elves’ Workshop. Here, children can help the busy elves sort letters and find the right presents, before visiting Mrs Claus in her cosy cottage to discover what she is cooking up.
The journey then builds towards the moment every child will be waiting for – a very special meeting with Santa Claus.
Live performers, animated characters, theatrical sets, sound, lighting and sensory design all come together to create an immersive Christmas experience that aims to make children feel as though they have stepped straight into Santa’s world.
And then the Christmas fun continues…
New for 2026, the experience doesn’t end when families leave the North Pole.
Guests will emerge through a magical tunnel of glowing, hanging vines into The Elves’ Playground, a sparkling festive village filled with twinkling light installations, gentle fairground rides designed with younger children in mind, festive food and drink and Christmas market stalls.
It sounds like the sort of place where you could easily spend a little longer soaking up the atmosphere after the main experience. Children can explore the playground while grown-ups grab something festive to eat or drink and enjoy the Christmas surroundings.
Best of all, entry to The Elves’ Playground is included with every Wundrful World of Christmas ticket. Families simply pay for any rides, food, drinks or additional extras they choose to enjoy.

Wundrful World of Christmas opens at Immerse LDN on Friday 13 November 2026 and runs until Thursday 24 December, making it a lovely option for families looking to add a little extra magic to their Christmas celebrations.
Tickets start from £24.90, with children under one admitted free. Every child will also receive a special gift from Santa, while families can choose to purchase a commemorative photograph from their Santa meet-and-greet on the day.
