Thai Sweet Chilli, Lemongrass & Coriander

KETTLE® Chips, is pleased to announce the launch of their highly anticipated new seasonings Crispy Bacon & Maple Syrup – their first offering made with real meat sourced from locally bred Norfolk pigs and Thai Sweet Chilli, Lemongrass & Coriander both perfect for barbecues and picnics, or simply for sharing with friends and family on a sunny day.

The new seasoning Crispy Bacon & Maple Syrup sees the marriage of the highly on-trend savoury and sweet flavour combinations and includes real bacon sourced locally from H.V. Graves, the well-established Norfolk family butchers, combined with the luxurious sweetness of Maple Syrup.

Chris Barnard, KETTLE® Head Chef comments:

“People have been asking us about introducing a real meat seasoning to our range for as long as I can remember and Bacon has always been among the UK’s most loved crisp flavours, that’s why we’re thrilled to be launching Crispy Bacon & Maple Syrup. The sweet and savoury flavours really help the palate come alive, making them the perfect crisp to accompany a range of summertime foods – from BBQ grilled meats to teatime summer sandwiches and even a nice chilled glass of prosecco!”

As for the Thai Sweet Chilli, Lemongrass & Coriander flavour Chris Barnard continued with:

“Our new summer seasonal edition was inspired by the exotic and aromatic foods of Thailand and combines the spicy, sweet heat of Thai chilli with aromatic lemongrass and the freshness of coriander, and tastes great coupled with either a cold beer or glass of chilled white wine. I created the seasoning to bring an authentic taste of Thai cuisine to the people of Britain’s tastebuds and also to recreate the feeling of being on a sun-soaked beach in Ko Samui. I hope that when people taste the product they’ll agree that we’ve succeeded”.
