It is estimated that approximately six million tonnes of coffee are produced in Europe every year, yet only a small proportion of the beans actually end up in the cup. The rest is discarded as household waste, which is often burned, in turn creating CO2 emissions. That’s where elho comes in! Each pot in the coffee collection contains at least three cups of coffee waste, giving the grounds a new lease of life and helping to reduce greenhouse gases.
