Love Your Body, Love Yourself – Delicious meals delivered directly to your door.

I have been using food delivery services for years, for convenience, variety, and simplicity. Always up for the challenge when something new comes my way I was keen to see what Love Yourself was offering on the menu.

Love Yourself is a nationwide meal delivery service catering for anyone who requires a little help in the kitchen department! Offering award-winning restaurant-quality food, calories counted and made with 100% real ingredients, with no additives and no nasties. No matter what your dietary preferences are, Love Yourself cater for keto to vegetarians to basically anyone looking to eat healthily. Their packaging is biodegradable, and they have green initiatives at the core of their company ethos.

The business started in a small kitchen space in West London in 2018. By early 2020, they were reaching maximum capacity, with a hundred extremely loyal customers who ordered almost every day.

Four friends who share the same food philosophy identified a gap in the market and were passionate about putting their ideas into practice.

Wojtek handled the eCommerce and business aspect while Michal Snela, who had worked in many Michelin-starred restaurants, became Head Chef.

They looked at the food options on the High Street and found that most are fast food franchises. Even the so-called healthier options tend to contain an abundance of unhealthy salt and preservatives. But eating healthy at work or home isn’t so easy either. Not everybody can cook or devote time to measuring and counting calories and often when focusing on a controlled diet it can become repetitive and boring. Their goal was to make healthy, delicious food with the variety that you would want to eat every day.

A healthy lifestyle is a key to living a long, happy life. What you fuel your body with is essential to how your body performs and understanding that different bodies have different needs. It is important to eat only the very best ingredients, ideally locally sourced, which is what Love Yourself aims to offer. They have lots of concepts to develop and want to also follow the seasonal approach to continue to vary the menu. They are also planning to offer more vegan and gluten-free options, and eventually meal boxes for kids.

Chef Michal picked up many culinary tips from travelling around France, Spain, and Asia. Although he has been trained in a classic French way, he uses many alternative cooking techniques to add excitement and variety to the nutritional meals. Michal is driven by the belief that people should be able to eat their favourite meals as part of a calorie-controlled diet. Eating healthy and staying healthy is something that should be easily achievable and accessible to all without breaking the bank.

Women Talking had the opportunity to try a selection of vegetarian option meals. They use meat substitutes such as tofu and seitan to bring new life to classic dishes and a variety of flavoursome signature dishes offering a balanced diet that will help improve your general well-being, improve your skin, hair, and nails, and help balance your insulin levels.

The options were original and tasty, delving into new culinary options that I have not tried before.

For the first day the menu contained the following: 

Breakfast – Oat porridge with raspberries and hazelnuts
Morning Snack – Roasted tomato & basil soup
Lunch – Thai, green, tofu curry with rice 
Afternoon Snack – Banana, date, and walnut muffin
Dinner – Root vegetable stew

And for the second:

Breakfast – Courgette & ricotta baked eggs 
Morning Snack – Beetroot and chickpea hummus
Lunch – Beef-less stew with carrot mash
Afternoon Snack – Strawberries and cream
Dinner – Greek stuffed peppers

The meal selection offered effective weight management, zero preservatives or additives and 100% natural ingredients, as well as slow-release carbohydrates that keep you fuller for longer. The menu contained all the essential nutrients for a healthy body, leading to improved hair, skin, and nails.
