The Rat
1936, 1948, 1960, 1972, 1984, 1996, 2008 |
Ten of Swords
| This card signifies endings and it often indicates the termination of a particular phase in a relationship. It is important to remember that although it represents life at its most bleak, your need to be objective about this because you have many highs as well as lows to go through, especially where relationships are concerned. February could see you feeling rather fragile and vulnerable and you need to perhaps let your hair down for Valentine’s Day. The illustration on the card shows a jet-black sky that lightens towards the horizon, indicating the dawn of another day. This is telling you to gain hope for the future. |
The Ox
1937, 1949, 1961, 1973, 1985, 1997, 2009 |
Queen of Cups |
| This card denotes a mature woman who is important to you in some way at this particular time. She has strong maternal instincts and is sensitive, considerate and emotional. She could be a classic earth mother with a large and loving family, perhaps including several children and pets, or she has developed an extended family of cherished friends. The woman described by this card is intuitive, possibly even psychic. She might even practise some kind of healing, work as a councillor or psychotherapist. Sometimes the Queen of cups is encouraging you to express some of these personality traits. She represents a positive in your life. |
The Tiger
1938, 1950, 1962, 1974, 1986, 1998, 2010 |
Three of Wands
| This is a positive and cheerful card, suggesting that you have embarked on a very productive and fruitful period in your life and that your enterprise, vision and creativity will bring exciting results. You are on the right track and the projects you have already started are going well. Your initial anxiety about them has passed and you now feel much more optimistic. Some of these projects have now reached the end of their final stage and you are ready to take them one step further. There is still plenty for you to accomplish but you have made an excellent start.

The Rabbit
1939, 1951, 1963, 1975, 1987, 1999, 2011 |
Death
This card merely speaks of endings, in which something has to die before something else can begin to grow. It also means transformation, in which subtle or dramatic changes take place. You may be going through a transitional period in which you are moving away from the person you once were. Perhaps you are becoming more aware of yourself and your motives. You may feel you are growing up at last, or becoming less dependent on your family and more able to stand on your own two feet.
This could also suggest the ending of a relationship, especially if you know it has no more to offer you. Whatever you decide to do, when you look back on this period of your life you may feel that it has taught you something valuable about yourself and enabled you to draw on strengths that you did not know you had.

The Dragon
1940, 1952, 1964, 1976, 1988, 2000, 2012 |
Five of Wands
| You may find that you will spend most of the month chasing your tail, meaning progress is slow on the work front. You have put a lot of research and hard work into new projects and results are not yet forth coming. Nothing seems to be going as planned and the demanding Dragon is beginning to find this situation terribly frustrating. You may find that arrangements that you have made have to be put on hold for the time being because of problems that are beyond your control. However as the month progresses results will come to pass and life will not feel such a struggle. This is a stage in your life when you have to draw on your reserves of patience in order to cope with what is happening.

The Snake
1941, 1953, 1965, 1977, 1989, 2001, 2013 |
Temperance
| This card is suggesting moderation in all things: possibly a tricky request for the snake that loves variety in everything they do. However the card is also warning you not to overdo anything. For example you may be overworking, so perhaps you should slow down. You could be caught up in a painful relationship that robs you of your self-respect and you need to end this as soon as possible. Also, your health could be suffering because you are burning the candle at both ends or drinking or eating too much, so it is time to be kinder to yourself, take care of your body and find a way to form harmony and balance and successfully blend various areas of your life. |
The Horse
1942, 1954, 1966, 1978, 1990, 2002, 2014 |
Nine of Swords
| One of the classic meanings of this card is sleepless nights. It can describe the sense of desperation that accompanies severe worries. You might be in a situation where you feel full of doom and gloom; convinced that the worst is about to happen when really you are just over-reacting. You can be quite the drama queen when you want to be! Be careful that you do not let your imagination run away with you because things are actually a lot better than they seem. Perhaps if there is a problem it is slightly deeper and less obvious and you realise. It might be wise to talk about what is wrong and to seek professional help. |
The Sheep
1943, 1955, 1967, 1979, 1991, 2003, 2015 |
Five of Coins
| It is so easy for your sign to get wrapped up with one area of life and ignore the others and as a consequence you may suffer some form of loss because of this. It might mean losing someone’s affection because it has taken second place to other concerns, or becoming so focused on materialism that you do not have time to enjoy life’s more simple pleasures. If you are struggling to make ends meet, you must question whether you have explored every avenue open to you. You might be entitled to allowances or benefits, but you will not know about these until you make enquires. Sheep are generally very caring creatures, so use this trait to turn this situation around, and allow yourself some time off from the daily grind.

The Monkey
1944, 1956, 1968, 1980, 1992, 2004, 2016 |
Four of Swords
| This card suggest it is time to take a well-deserved rest. Not just physically but also mentally. So do what’s best and put all thoughts aside for now and chill out. It is time to relax and reflect, rest and recover. If you have been wearing yourself out with a great deal of hard work or some taxing mental activity, you need a break before you continue. If you are worried about something, you may have reached a point where your thoughts are simply going round and round your head until you cannot think straight. Perhaps this would be a good time to have a weekend away, withdraw from the stresses of daily life for a short while, so you can think things through and gain a better perspective of them. |
The Rooster
1945, 1957, 1969, 1981, 1993, 2005, 2017 |
Eight of Coins
| This has been a major time for studying and working hard for the future. You have put your head down and got on with what was necessary to achieve your personal goals. We all have different skills, abilities and talents and this card is encouraging you to explore and put trust in your ideas. Roosters generally has a very independent mind and are confident in their own judgements, hence you may be interested in a subject that is often ridiculed or considered unimportant, but you should ignore this and work towards your own ambitions. As long as you have personal satisfaction that is all that is important. You have the confidence to see this project through and the end result could be of a financial benefit. |
The Dog
1946, 1958, 1970, 1982, 1994, 2006, 2018 |
Six of Swords
| This card describes moving away from an unpleasant experience into calmer waters. You may have been feeling hemmed in by problems and have been unable to escape them. Your biggest fear is that although the difficult period is at an end you will be plagued by the memory of it and continually worry that it will happen again. Your mind may keep replaying the experience, and you might not be able to sleep because of it. I suggest you discuss this problem with a friend because the very act of explaining your fears may help put them in perspective, although generally the dog is very wary of burdening others with their anxieties.
Perhaps this is a good time to take a break or short holiday especially if life has become fraught or you are exhausted. |
The Pig
1947, 1959, 1971, 1983, 1995, 2007, 2019 |
Seven of Cups
| This card is full of promise for the happy go lucky pig. Your open attitude and affectionate nature will open up a series of choices in some way for you this month. You may be offered several opportunities, which could all seem exiting and encouraging. However, some of these will fail to live up to expectations and a few might even turn out to be liabilities or more trouble than they are actually worth. Nevertheless, at least one opportunity will be extremely favourable and it might even lead onto tremendous success, happiness or contentment. Don’t let any chance slip you by this February.
