Uses for Essential Oils by Jennie Fowler

• Lavender and Tea Tree are the only essential oils that should be applied to the skin undiluted. All others must be diluted with a Carrier Oil.

• Massage Lavender Oil into the temples to relieve headaches.

• Dab neat Tea Tree Oil onto bites and stings.

• Inhale Cedarwood Oil, and add a few drops to the bathwater, to relieve catarrh.

• Bergamot is uplifting and also helps to disperse cigarette smoke - ideal for use in the car.

• Using Lavender on burns and scalds helps to reduce pain and prevents blistering.

• Use Eucalyptus Oil, neat, to clean and disinfect your work surfaces. It will clear your airways at the same time!

• Apply Tea Tree Oil to fungal infections of the nails and feet.

• Inhale Frankincense, and add a few drops to the bathwater, to combat chest infections and loss of voice.
